BUYER'S PROGRAMM
The Incoming Buying Mission (IBM) held concurrently with INTRADE Malaysia 2010 is one of the core and unique marketing programmes undertaken by MATRADE annually in promoting Malaysian products and services to the world.
To be held over two, this year's event is expected to draw more than 700 international buyers from over 60 countries in the one-on-one business meetings.
The successful track record of previous IBMs at INTRADE MALAYSIA 2008 included:
- Generating RM2.6 billion in sales and negotiated contracts
- Unprecedented record of almost 10,000 one-on-one meetings held over three days
- Providing a strategic platform for networking between sellers and buyers
- Proven as cost efficient method of promoting Malaysian exports to the world
- Proven as cost efficient method of promoting export products and services to the world
Foreign buyers who had participated in previous IBMs have expressed favourably on the advantages of this event. Among the key factors identified by foreign buyers were:
